What to include in a pool service quote request
Prepare your pool location, service needs, equipment details and photos to help a pool professional understand your quote request.
Describe the pool and the request
Give the service address and ZIP code, the approximate pool size if known, whether there is an attached spa and the work you want. Explain whether you are seeking an ongoing plan, a single visit or an assessment of a specific concern.
Share useful equipment information
Manufacturer and model labels, error messages and clear photos can help the company understand the request. Include when the concern started and any previous service. Only take photos from a safe location; leave diagnosis and equipment work to the professional.
Explain scheduling and access
Share a preferred start date or service date, or say that you are flexible. Mention access arrangements that affect scheduling, but provide gate codes and other private instructions through the company’s private customer workspace rather than a public review or profile.
Read the proposal before booking
Ask what the quote covers, whether an initial diagnosis is separate and what could require a revised estimate. Confirm timing, visit frequency, payment responsibilities and cancellation arrangements in the service agreement. Submitting a request by itself does not book a visit.
